The Streetlights announce new single Coming Good, out 24 July 2026
Manchester indie-rock band The Streetlights return on 24 July 2026 with their latest single, Coming Good—a driving, emotionally charged anthem that captures the uncertainty of a relationship reaching breaking point.
Built around gritty guitar riffs, propulsive drums and a soaring, singalong chorus, Coming Good showcases the band's ability to pair raw, honest songwriting with infectious indie-rock energy. Drawing on the emotional tension between holding on and letting go, the track explores the frustration of trying to save something that may already be slipping away.
Written by frontman Ryan Wynne, the song centres around the recurring line, "You make me feel like we're not coming good," transforming a deeply personal moment into a chorus designed to be shouted back from the front row. Combining introspective lyricism with the urgency and momentum of the band's live performances, the single marks another confident step forward in The Streetlights' songwriting.
Speaking about the track, Ryan says:
"'Coming Good' is about reaching that point where you know something isn't working anymore, but neither person wants to admit it. It's about all the conversations that go round in circles, trying to convince yourself things will get better while deep down you know the truth. We wanted the music to feel as urgent as those emotions, and make something people could lose themselves in while still connecting with the lyrics."
Having built a reputation for energetic live shows and anthemic guitar-driven songwriting, The Streetlights continue to establish themselves as one of Manchester's exciting emerging indie-rock bands. Coming Good captures the band's biggest strengths to date: hook-laden melodies, dynamic performances and emotionally honest songwriting, while pointing towards an exciting new chapter.
"Coming Good" is released on all major streaming platforms on Friday 24 July 2026.

As seen in…
The Streetlights demonstrate that indie rock can be explosively energetic and emotionally nuanced, crafting a track that is as exhilarating as it is thoughtful. From the high-octane instrumentation to the reflective lyricism, the song captures the tension and release of living in an uncertain world, offering listeners a sonic escape and a moment of introspection. As a debut statement, it positions The Streetlights as a band capable of channelling existential unease into exhilarating art, creating music that resonates with the heart and the adrenaline of their audience.”
